To accommodate the strong growth, the Economic Development Council, City, County and State joined forces to build a four lane divided highway to encircle the city. The loop - Eagle Circle - is completed from Hwy. 68 to the Industrial Park and across Fort Campbell Blvd. to the Northwest part of the City. The initial areas opened to enhance access to areas for school and residential growth and to accommodate the industrial labor force. Upon completing Eagle Circle, the primary growth areas in the Southwest will be linked to Fort Campbell Blvd. and the industrial base in the Northwest.
